The Ling Yao (令曜), product code DP-H01, is the debut 1/100 scale original plastic model kit from XIAOT's Dragon Crest Studio (龙纹镖局) — a line that fuses ancient Chinese escort-agency mythology with hard sci-fi mecha design. Standing roughly 25.8 cm tall, the kit reimagines the wide-brimmed bamboo hat, woven straw rain cape, and goose-quill saber as fully functional mecha components rather than surface decoration. Its defining feature is a three-layer modular armor system: Full Armor Mode wears the complete heavy shell with an unfurling dragon-wing cape backpack, Light Armor Mode strips down to a leaner, muscular frame suited for dynamic posing, and the bare inner frame reveals nearly 900 parts of precision engineering, including a segmented "lobster-back" spine, a drop-down waist joint, and shoulder blade linked-movement armor. Major load-bearing joints use durable POM material, and the kit comes with a dedicated armor display rack and weapon stand to showcase the complete loadout.
